Dr. R. A. Mashelkar

Padma Vibhushan, National Research Professor & Former Director General - CSIR, Government of India

Dr. R.A. Mashelkar, National Research Professor, has been the Director General of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Chairman of National Innovation Foundation as also the President of Indian National Science Academy, Global Research Alliance and Institute of Chemical Engineers (UK).


In recognition of his pioneering research contributions in polymer science & Engineering, he has been honoured as a Fellow of Royal Society, Foreign Fellow of US National Academy of Science as also Engineering, Foreign Associate of American Academy of Arts and Science & Fellow of US National Academy of Inventors. 


42 universities from around the world have honoured him with honorary doctorates. The sixty plus awards won by him include the prestigious TWAS-Lenovo Science Prize, Business Week (USA) award of `Stars of Asia’ & JRD Tata Corporate Leadership Award.   


Dr. Mashelkar, who was a member of the Scientific Advisory Council to the Prime Minister for over thirty years, has been honoured with Padmashri, Padmabhushan, and Padma Vibhushan, three of the highest civilian honours.

Dr. Dipak Jain

Former Dean, Kellogg School of Management & INSEAD, Paris

Dr. Dipak Chand Jain is the European President and Professor of Marketing at CEIBS (China Europe International Business School). Dr. Jain is a globally recognized marketing and innovation expert whose insights have inspired a generation of business leaders to pursue success with significance. Dr. Jain’s influential career spans nearly four decades as an educator, a senior business school administrator, and a consultant to corporations and governments. Throughout his career, he had furthered a pedagogical model that combines academic excellence and business relevance to produce high-impact results with social significance.


Prior to being named Sasin’s Director in 2014, Dr. Jain served from 2011 to 2013 as Dean of INSEAD and former Dean of Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management from 2001 to 2009. 


An award-winning scholar in his own right, he has published more than 60 articles in leading academic journals and has earned the prestigious John D.C. Little Best Paper Award. Among the many distinctions for his teaching and service, Dr. Jain received the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas from the Prime Minister of India, an award that recognizes exceptional leadership contributions of overseas Indians.

Dr. Goodman is the sixth President of the Institute of International Education. Previously, he was Executive Dean of the School of Foreign Service and Professor at Georgetown University. He was the first American professor to lecture at the Foreign Affairs College of Beijing, helped create the first U.S. academic exchange program with the Moscow Diplomatic Academy for the Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs, and developed the diplomatic training program of the Foreign Ministry of Vietnam. He has a Ph.D. in Government from Harvard, an M.P.A. from the John F. Kennedy School of Government and a B.S. from Northwestern University.

Dr. Marmolejo  is since February 2020, Education Advisor of Qatar Foundation, based in Doha, Qatar. At QF, he provides technical support and advice to the office of the Chairperson on the wide array of educational initiatives of the Foundation, including the multi-campus “Education City” hosting 9 prestigious universities and 13 pre-university educational institutions. Previously, he was based in Delhi, India while serving as World Bank’s Lead Higher Education Specialist for India and South Asia from July 2016 to February 2020. During his career at the World Bank he also worked as Global Coordinator of Higher Education from 2012 to 2018, serving as the institutional focal point on the topic of higher education, and providing technical support to WB projects in more than 60 countries.
