Shri Mukesh D. Ambani has been in the Board of RIL since 1977. He initiated RIL's backward integration journey from textiles into polyester fibres and further into petrochemicals, petroleum refining and going upstream into oil and gas exploration and production. He created multiple new world class manufacturing facilities involving diverse technologies that have raised RIL's petrochemicals manufacturing capacities from less than a million tonnes to about twenty-one million tonnes per year.
Shri Mukesh D. Ambani, in the late nineties, led the creation of the world's largest grassroots petroleum refinery at Jamnagar, India, with a capacity of 660,000 barrels per day (33 million tonnes per year) integrated with petrochemicals, power generation, port and related infrastructure. Further, he steered the setting up of another 580,000 barrels per day refinery next to the existing one in Jamnagar. With an aggregate refining capacity of 1.24 million barrels of oil per day at any single location in the world has transformed "Jamnagar" as the 'Refining Hub of the World'.
Shri Mukesh D. Ambani led RIL's development of infrastructure facilities and implementation of a pan, India organized retail network spanning multiple formats and supply chain infrastructure. Today, Reliance Retail is the largest retail player in the country.
Shri Mukesh D. Ambani created global records in customer acquisition for our digital services initiative- Jio. He led and established one of the most complex 40 broadband wireless services in the world offering end to end solutions that address the entire value chain across various digital services in key domains of national interest such as education, healthcare, security, financial services, government, citizen interfaces and entertainment.

Dr R. A. Mashelkar, National Research Professor, is known globally for his pioneering research in polymer science and engineering, for his exceptional and transformative leadership of major Indian R&D institutions, his playing a key role in pioneering the intellectual property movement in India and for his being a dominant force in shaping India's SET policies and performance in the post-liberalised India.
He served as the Director General of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), with thirty-eight laboratories for over eleven years. He was also the President of Indian National Science Academy and Chairman of National Innovation Foundation.

She played a pivotal role in conceptualising and launching Jio in India in 2016. A game changer in the Indian telecom and digital landscape, Jio is the world’s largest mobile data network.
Isha leads the online and offline business for Reliance Retail which is India's largest retailer by revenue, profits, reach and scale with presence in grocery, consumer electronics and fashion retail. Under her leadership Reliance Retail has attained the distinction of being the fastest growing retailer in the world in 2019 and to be the only Indian retailer in the list of global top 100 retailers.

Bimal Patel (born 31 August 1961) is an architect from Gujarat, India, with over 35 years of professional, research and teaching experience in architecture, urban design and urban planning. He is the President of CEPT University in Ahmedabad and Chairman of the Board of Governors of the School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal. Dr. Patel leads HCP Design, Planning and Management Pvt. Ltd., an architecture, planning and project management firm. He also founded Environmental Planning Collaborative, a not-for-profit, planning research and advocacy organization.
Patel’s practice has focused on transforming urban design and planning practice to make them more effective in improving Indian cities. Pradeep K. Khosla became UC San Diego’s eighth Chancellor on August 1, 2012. He spent the majority of his career at Carnegie Mellon, rising through the ranks from his first position as Assistant Professor in 1986 to his appointment as Dean in 2004. From 1994 to 1996, he also served as a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Program Manager in the Software and Intelligent Systems Technology Office, Defense Sciences Office and Tactical Technology Office, where he managed advanced research and development programs.
Khosla is an elected member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, National Academy of Engineering and the American Society for Engineering Education. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the American Association for Advancement of Science, the American Association of Artificial Intelligence, the Indian Academy of Engineering and the National Academy of Inventors. R Venkataramanan is Founder and CEO of Karkinos Healthcare, a purpose driven technology led cancer care start-up and an advisor to the Chairman, Reliance Industries Limited, India’s largest private sector company.
Prior to his association with Reliance, Mr. R Venkataramanan spent more than a decade and a half with the Tata Group in various capacities. His last assignment with the Tata Group was as Managing Trustee of the Tata Trusts wherein he was responsible for the operations and oversight of, and co-ordination between, the various Tata Trusts.
As the Chief Executive Officer of the Tata Trusts, Mr. R Venkataramanan was engaged in redefining the Tata Trusts’ strategic approach with a view to making it relevant and responsive to the current needs of society while remaining within the mandate established by the Settlors. He was directly overseeing several large initiatives within the Trusts viz “Lakhpati Kisan – a program that aims to significantly enhance rural prosperity in under privileged and deprived communities, redefining Cancer Care across the country, technology enabled education initiatives in partnership with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the sanitation and nutrition projects in collaboration with Govt., of India.
He has over two decades of business and operations experience in the areas of finance, business support and strategy. From early 2007 to end 2012, he was Executive Assistant to Mr. Ratan N. Tata, the former Chairman of the Tata Group. During his stint in the Chairman’s office of Tata Sons, Mr. R Venkataramanan was part of several significant projects including the Tata Motors acquisition of Jaguar Land Rover, launch of the small car Nano, creation of several joint ventures, responses in operating companies during the 2008 financial crisis etc., and was also privy to several senior leadership transitions and change management processes in the Tata Group. On behalf of the Chairman, he was the key point person to several entities in India and abroad.
Prior to his stint with Mr. Tata’s office, Mr. R Venkataramanan was associated as Head of Business Support at the Qatar Foundation, a not for profit entity engaged in Education, Science and Community development based in Doha, wherein he played a key role in establishing partnerships with a number of leading U.S. universities.
Mr. R Venkataramanan is a science graduate and has done his MBA (in Finance) from the Sri Satya Sai University, Puttaparthi. He is also a Law Graduate from Mumbai University and has completed his Advanced Management Program (AMP) from the Harvard Business School. He is currently pursuing his EngD from the University of Warwick, UK on role of Technology in Health Care Systems.
Over the past several years, Mr. R Venkataramanan has, in his personal capacity, actively supported Mr. Ratan N. Tata in his investments in the technology, digital and e-commerce space that have now begun to attract significant attention in India and abroad. He was also the CEO of UC-RNT Fund, a USD 250 million VC fund that Mr. Tata established in collaboration with the University of California. A key proponent of societal platforms, he is the midst of incubating alternative business and investment vehicles that work in the intersection of business, philanthropy, non-profits and governments on the notion of sustainable shared value creation forsocietal benefit.
